The Merchant Automotive sand rail is making its round again! This time it made an appearance at the Richards Auto Parts/Triple Force Race Team hosted 2015 exhibition and ice race at Anchor Bay in New Baltimore, Michigan on Lake St. Clair. The guys over at MA brought out the studded Duramax diesel sand rail for some test and tuning in preparation for the Schuss Mountain Snow Challenge at the end of March. Sporting a Turbocharged Duramax Diesel LBZ 6.6L, Powerglide transmission, custom-built converter from Precision Industries, Speedway Engineering Independent Quick Change rear end, and a Custom Fabricated 4130 Chromoly chassis, this is hands down one of the baddest sand rails on the planet.
